OUR PURPOSE

More than a room.
A foundation for what comes next.

We believe a stable place to live can be the cornerstone of a successful transition. Our goal is to provide a respectful residential setting where adults can focus on their next chapter with dignity.

We welcome referrals from social workers, case managers, hospitals, shelters, veterans services, and community partners. Together, we can help connect people with housing that respects their needs and their independence.

Our approach is grounded in integrity, compassion, empathy, dignity, accountability, and second chances.

MY “WHY”

Everyone deserves a safe place to start again.

Cornerstone Living was created from my belief that everyone deserves a safe place to start again.

Throughout my years of working with and serving people from different walks of life, I’ve seen how quickly life circumstances can change. Sometimes a person doesn’t need someone to judge their past — they need someone willing to believe in their future. They need stability, dignity, encouragement, and a place where they can take the next step forward.

That is my “why.”

I created Cornerstone to be more than a place to stay. I wanted to create an environment where individuals can feel safe, respected, valued, and hopeful while rebuilding their lives and working toward independence.

The name Cornerstone represents the foundation on which something stronger can be built. My goal is for every person who walks through our doors to have the opportunity to establish that foundation — one built on stability, accountability, integrity, and empathy.

I believe in second chances. I believe a person’s current circumstances do not have to determine their future. And most importantly, I believe sometimes one opportunity, one safe place, and one person who cares can be the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

Cornerstone Living exists to help provide that beginning.
